Cthulhu Wars: Duel – Extinction is a fast-moving strategy game for exactly two players, with a play time of about 30 minutes. Set after the Old Ones have risen and monsters walk the Earth, it asks which Great Old One will rule humanity’s ruins.

Each player takes charge of a radically different faction. One side commands The Sleeper, a primordial god of slumber and hunger. The other controls Ithaqua, the Windwalker, god of outer space and all that is coldest and darkest.

The two sides offer contrasting ways to approach the struggle, with unique units, abilities, and strategies available to each. This asymmetry gives the confrontation its central character: both players are pursuing the same ultimate goal, but neither faction approaches the ruined Earth in quite the same way.
