Cutthroat Caverns: Anniversary Edition is a semi-co-operative game for 3–6 players, with a play time of about 90 minutes. Players must survive the caverns, defeat horrific beasts, and escape with an artifact of untold power.

Cooperation is essential, but so is greed. During combat, adventurers compete for the chance to land the final blow, because only the player who delivers it scores the kill. You might swing for 50 points of damage, or hold back and wait for a better opportunity to strike.

Every decision balances personal ambition against the survival of the entire party. Sabotage other players too much or hold back at the wrong moment, and everyone may die without a winner. This tension between teamwork and betrayal creates a game that can become funny, dangerous, and unpredictable very quickly.
