About this board game

D-Day Dice Pocket is a compact dice game for 1-8 players, with games lasting around 15 minutes. This small box contains two distinct mini games set during the invasion of Normandy: a competitive push-your-luck contest and a cooperative beach assault.

In D-Day Dice Battle!, players roll dice while trying to match the enemy forces die for die. As the contest unfolds, players can earn medals that influence their own rolls or hinder the rolls of their opponents. It is a competitive experience that can be played with any number of players.

D-Day Dice Express! is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players. Everyone must work together to invade the beaches of Normandy, facing increasingly harder conditions across six different beaches. Players must rally specialists to overcome the German defences and complete the assault.

• The Kommandant black die, adding difficulty to both games

The special black die, The Kommandant, introduces an extra layer of difficulty in both modes. The box also includes special rules for adding the grey dice to the main D-Day Dice game as MGF Dice.

Although it uses the RWB mechanic, D-Day Dice Pocket is completely separate from D-Day Dice. Its combination of competitive and cooperative play offers two different ways to experience a fast Normandy-themed dice challenge.
