D6 Dungeon

About this board game

D6 Dungeon is a 20-minute dungeon race for 2–4 players, in which adventurers compete to map a route through a perilous dungeon and score more experience points than their opponents.

Each game begins with an empty grid of thirty-six square holes, known as the Dungeon Waffle, and a bag containing thirty-six Dungeoneering Dice. The Dungeon Waffle sits between players, with each side showing a different view of the dungeon.

On your turn, draw a die from the bag, roll it, and decide how to use the result. You can add to the dungeon map, alter its layout, or add useful resources to your adventurer’s supply. As the map develops, you must plan a route on your side of the waffle from one edge to the other.

• Explore a dungeon filled with monsters, treasure chambers, and cursed glyphs.
• Collect weapons and equipment to help deal with what you encounter.
• Learn spells that can alter the corridors in front of you.
• Change the shared map in ways that may help your route while hindering an opponent’s.

The dungeon is full of threats and rewards, from terrible dragons guarding hoards of gold to pesky little orcs and ancient, undiscovered treasure chambers. Your choices shape the map that both sides must navigate, but each player sees it from a different perspective.

With its shared physical map, dice-driven decisions, exploration, and direct race for experience points, D6 Dungeon challenges you to find a route through danger while making the dungeon more difficult for your opponent.
