Damnation: The Gothic Game is a 2–8 player horror board game with an approximate play time of 90 minutes, released in 2023. Take on the role of an iconic Victorian-era villain and enter a cursed castle where only the last surviving player can claim victory.

Explore the castle by ransacking rooms and drawing cards. Combine these cards with your Villain’s unique Talents to avoid misfortune, find deadly weapons, gather forbidden powers, and punish opponents who stand in your way.

Position yourself next to another Villain to claim the dreaded Power of Adjacency. This lets you steer opponents into the castle’s fiendish traps and hazards, turning the castle itself into a dangerous weapon.

• Slay rival Villains and claim their souls.
• Spend souls at The Dark Tower for monstrously powerful rewards.
• Return as a ghost and gamble on the fate of the castle and its occupants.
• Visit The Vault to become The Vampire, an agile and deadly form with only a few weaknesses hidden within the castle.

Death does not necessarily end your struggle. As a ghost, you may have a chance to return to life and seek revenge, or adopt the very different form of The Vampire. Every decision brings you closer to discovering whether you can survive the night.
