Dangerous Space: Core Set is a solo roll-and-write game for 1 player, with play sessions of about 30 minutes. Set in the far future, it sends eager ship jumpers into derelict starships in search of salvage.

This futuristic dungeon crawl places a strong emphasis on dice management and careful placement. Each decision helps you tackle the ship’s puzzle-like challenges while racing the clock, dodging enemy laser blasts, and confronting deep-space terrors.

Compared with Dungeon Pages, Dangerous Space offers more puzzle-optimizing challenges alongside an all-new tech tree. The Core Set includes four cadets, each offering a different playstyle and tech tree:

• Weaver
• Oolat
• Bakshi

Choose your cadet and head into a dangerous ship, using your available dice and placement choices to work through difficult missions. The different characters and tech trees give the Core Set its own range of approaches to explore.

The Core Set’s characters and ship are not repeated in the year-long adventure. If you own both, they provide even more variety as you take on the dangers of deep space.
