Dark Souls: The Board Game – Explorers Expansion is a 2017 expansion for 1–4 players that adds new terrain miniatures, adversaries, encounter cards, treasure cards, and additional cards for the core game.

Enhance your Dark Souls: The Board Game collection with terrain pieces that bring more detail to your adventures. The expansion includes miniatures representing chests, barrels, gravestones, and a bonfire, adding new visual elements to the game.

The Explorers Expansion also introduces new adversaries and their respective cards. Its enemy lineup includes The Pursuer, two Mimics in active and dormant forms, three Silver Knight Spearmen, and three Firebomb Hollows.

• The Pursuer miniature and cards
• Two Mimic miniatures: one active and one dormant
• Three Silver Knight Spearmen miniatures
• Three Firebomb Hollows miniatures
• Chests, barrels, gravestones, and a bonfire terrain miniatures
• 15 encounter cards and 15 treasure cards
• An extra set of Old Dragonslayer cards for use with the Ornstein miniature from the core box

The expansion provides additional cards and miniatures for players looking to broaden the content available in their core game. The extra Old Dragonslayer cards are specifically designed for use with the Ornstein miniature included in the core box.

Please note that Alonne is not included in this expansion; it was moved to the Iron Keep box. With its new enemies, terrain pieces, encounters, treasures, and Old Dragonslayer card set, Dark Souls: The Board Game – Explorers Expansion adds substantial new content to the 1–4 player game.
