Darkest Doom is a competitive strategy game with RPG elements for 1–4 players, featuring a 150-minute adventure set during eight days of an Eclipse. In the dark fantasy region of Betel, the Darkness seeks to annihilate the land while rival Guardians race to complete one of four paths to victory.

Take control of one of four formidable Guardians, each with unique abilities and traits. Explore Betel’s varied areas, using the characteristics of different terrains to shape your plans. Quests assigned by Vicar Percival let you increase your Guardian’s statistics, encouraging you to adapt your strategy and attitude according to the strengths you choose to develop.

Exploration can also reveal ancient relics, which help you pursue the victory condition you have chosen. Every round begins with a new Dawn, and the Citadel restock replenishes your hand with cards selected from the Equipment, Spells, and Traps decks.

• Complete quests to improve your statistics and refine your approach.
• Discover relics while working toward one of four victory conditions.
• Use Equipment, Spells, and Traps, whose effects change according to the Guardian using them and the statistics they have increased.

Play alone in Bot Guardians mode, adding up to three automated Guardians to the adventure. Alternatively, challenge up to three other players in a contest combining roleplay, exploration, and traditional board game elements.

With its XVII-century Europe inspiration, anthropomorphic animal inhabitants, and escalating struggle against the Darkness, Darkest Doom presents a tense race for survival and supremacy across the eight days of the Eclipse.
