About this board game
Days of Decision III: Global Political Conflict – 1936-1946 is a global politics board game for 2–8 players, with a playing time of approximately 360 minutes. It can be played as a stand-alone game or combined with World in Flames.
Set during the turbulent years from 1936 through 1946, the game presents a political view of a world approaching and enduring global conflict. Players use the political map, status information, options, charts, and tracks to explore this dramatic period in international affairs.
Days of Decision III has been completely upgraded for seamless compatibility with World in Flames and all of its kits. The third edition introduces a new map, a new Status Display, updated rules, and revised charts for its political conflict system.
The large, full-colour Political Map measures 840 mm by 594 mm. A separate full-colour Status Display shows the current political status of minor countries and includes 20 International Political options, along with a number of charts and tracks.
- Eight full-colour major power option cards
- Five counter sheets, including three CS13 sheets and two CS17 sheets
- A rules booklet with setups and major power, war, and treaty charts
- Two ten-sided dice
With its broad historical scope and compatibility with World in Flames, Days of Decision III offers an extensive tabletop presentation of global political conflict. Its atmospheric challenge is captured by the question: can you tame the tiger?
