About this board game

DC Spyfall is a bluffing and deduction party game for 3–8 players, with games lasting about 50 minutes. Based on Spyfall, it challenges players to ask probing questions, give clever answers, and identify the one player who does not know the group’s location.

At the start of each round, everyone receives a secret card. Most players learn the shared location, chosen from 20 unique DC settings such as Arkham Asylum, the Daily Planet, the Hall of Justice, and S.T.A.R. Labs. One player instead receives the Joker card and must work out where they are before the other players expose them.

DC Spyfall adds new twists to the familiar formula. A player may receive a location card featuring Harley Quinn; that player tries to give the Joker useful information without knowing who the Joker is. If the Joker correctly guesses the location, both collaborators score points—unless the superheroes identify Harley and turn the tables.

  • Multiverse decks: Some decks contain eight different locations, making questions and answers harder to interpret.
  • All-Joker deck: Every player receives a Joker card, so the group must base its answers on whatever everyone collectively believes.
  • Super power cards: Players may gain special abilities or behavioral restrictions, such as dodging a question or answering in three words or less with Super Speed.

Neither the multiverse decks nor the all-Joker deck is revealed in advance, keeping every round uncertain. Released in 2018, DC Spyfall combines social deduction, suspicion, bluffing, and DC-themed surprises in a party game where every answer can raise new questions.
