Even Deeper Regrets

About this expansion

Even Deeper Regrets is a 1–5 player game with a 150-minute play time, expanding the base game with inland fishing, new discoveries, and additional ways to shape each day.

The major change is the choice of where to start: each day, you can begin at Inland as well as at Sea or Port. Inland waters offer three River shoals and one Loch shoal, each featuring a higher risk/reward ratio than the Sea. These locations bring 74 new fish and 25 dinks to find.

The expansion also introduces an entirely new sea of fish, containing 117 brand-new fish. You can combine these with the base game fish or play using only the expansion fish, allowing you to choose how you build your collection.

• Use new polyps, items, equipment, and pets.

New polyps add a fresh scoring mechanic: every polyp becomes worth more for each other polyp in play. This creates an expanding value around these new additions.

New items and equipment broaden the available supplies, including the new pet supply type. Pets stay faithfully by your side and provide a persistent benefit, but they can still be lost at sea—so getting attached carries its own risk.

With flexible fish combinations, higher-risk inland waters, and new mechanics to discover, Even Deeper Regrets gives the base game a deeper range of choices for players ready to venture beyond the familiar seas.
