Defenders of the Last Stand is a cooperative post-apocalyptic adventure game for 1–5 players, with sessions lasting about 120 minutes. Set in the Western United States more than 50 years after nuclear war, it places players in the role of Defenders protecting humanity’s last known haven.

The settlement, once known as Stanfield, is now called The Last Stand. Four outside clan leaders and their followers are advancing toward the town, while menacing mutants roam the surrounding desert. Players must work together to defend the settlement and preserve the fragile chance of survival its people have built.

Gameplay combines elements of adventure and conflict resolution. Travel through irradiated areas can cause player characters to mutate, adding a distinctive danger to exploration beyond the town. The setting is shaped by dry roads, scattered caravans, radiation, ancient technology, and the constant threat of hostile forces.

With its mix of cooperative defense, exploration, conflict, mutations, and striking post-apocalyptic factions, Defenders of the Last Stand presents a dramatic struggle for the last fighting chance humanity has left.
