About this board game

Deities is a board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2022, it challenges players to place a village token carefully, gather resources, build buildings, and expand their influence.

Its distinctive resource system begins when a village token is placed on the board. Look along a straight line to find the nearest token showing the same resource, then activate all tokens in that line. This creates a key positional decision: the location of your village token determines which resources become available.

After tokens are activated, they are flipped. As a result, each placement involves more than simply collecting what is currently visible. You must consider the resources you will gain as well as whether your move will hand over the next placement opportunity to your opponent.
