Delve

About this board game

Delve is a tile-laying and narrative dungeon adventure for 2–4 players, played in about 60 minutes. Released in 2017, it sends bands of adventurers into the dangerous depths of Skull Cavern in search of fortune.

Each turn, players place a dungeon tile and an adventurer, gradually exploring the caverns below. Behind every door, gold, treasures, and perilous encounters await. Kobolds and other dangers stand between the Delvers and their rewards.

• Place dungeon tiles to expand the developing cavern.
• Guide adventurers through rooms and corridors in search of loot.
• Fight for a share of the gold and treasure when an area is completed.

When a room or corridor is completed, the Delvers must fight for their share of its riches. Cooperation may be useful while exploring, but the rewards are contested when the area is ready to resolve.

A player who manages to complete a room alone faces a different challenge. Before collecting the riches, that player must overcome dangerous encounters without the help of other Delvers.
