About this expansion

Detective: Saints & Sinners is a narrative-driven expansion for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes, set in the dark and violent world of 1940s Los Angeles.

Most players become LAPD Homicide detectives, pursuing leads and working to solve each case. One player takes the role of The Chisel, whose goal is to stall and misdirect the detectives at every turn, creating a tense contest of investigation and deception.

This expansion adds three cases from experienced designers Alara Cameron, William Kenyon, and Logan Giannini. Vincent Dutrait returns with period-inspired artwork, joined by Roland MacDonald and Magdalena Płoszkiewicz, bringing new visual styles to the City of Angels.

• One Last Hit for the Hitman: A familiar mob capo meets a gruesome end. Determine whether it was an accidental overdose or something more sinister.
• Cloak & Daggered: When spies and G-men bring their shadowy games to Los Angeles, blood hits the streets. Solving the murder becomes difficult when no one is who they seem.
• Blast from the Past: A decorated police captain is nearly obliterated in a suspicion explosion. With a long list of enemies, identifying who pressed the button will be far from easy.

With its collaborative detective work, opposing hidden agenda, and richly atmospheric setting, Detective: Saints & Sinners expands the narrative experience of Detective: City of Angels with three new investigations filled with danger, uncertainty, and hard questions.
