About this board game

Detective Stories: Demo “Gattardo” is a realistic detective game for 1–5 players, with a play time of about 60 minutes. Players investigate a suspicious fire in the city of Adlerstein that resulted in the death of a citizen.

A journalist has been accused of arson with fatal consequences. He gathered numerous pieces of evidence to prove his innocence, and your task is to determine whether he is telling the truth while searching for the real criminal.

The investigation combines physical objects with digital elements. Players receive a set of evidence and use these materials to pursue the case, following an investigative process similar to the work carried out by criminal police in real life.

  • Investigate a realistic criminal case involving a suspicious fire.
  • Use physical evidence together with digital parts.
  • Enter the suspected criminal’s name for final validation.
  • Request hints when additional help is needed.

Detective Stories: Demo “Gattardo” supports both cooperative and competitive play. In cooperative mode, players work together to reach the correct solution. Alternatively, groups can split into teams and compete to see who identifies the criminal first.

At the end of the investigation, enter the name of the person you believe is responsible and discover whether your conclusion is correct. With its evidence-driven format and realistic case structure, the game turns a short session into a focused search for the truth.
