Dice City: By Royal Decree is a 1–4 player city-building game with an approximately 45-minute play time, released in 2016. The Queen is taking a personal interest in how your cities develop, bringing new demands and fresh ways to pursue victory.

Your choices may come under royal scrutiny, from the locations you construct and where you build them to your ability to gather resources or raise armies. Trade is also a high royal priority, adding another important consideration as you work toward becoming the next great capital.

By Royal Decree introduces new elements designed to make every decision more interesting, exciting, and challenging. Its additions include:

• A new and separate trade board
• Extra dice for the trade board
• Queen’s Plans cards that open new strategic possibilities
• New locations that require careful attention to when they are used

The new locations make timing especially important. Building the right place is only part of the challenge; you must also consider when its ability can best support your plans. Meanwhile, the trade board and additional dice give you more to weigh as you develop your city and respond to the Queen’s priorities.
