About this expansion

Dice Throne: Alchemist is a fast-playing combat game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 40 minutes. Step into the Mad King’s arena as the Alchemist and battle for the ultimate prize: the Throne.

In each round, roll your hero’s unique set of five dice up to three times. Use the symbols or numbers you roll to activate abilities, attack opponents, and turn carefully prepared concoctions into tactical advantages.

The Alchemist uses alchemical tinctures and bubbling brews as the building blocks of battle. Fill flasks with elixirs that strengthen attacks, concoctions that cause corrosion, and bottles that bolster defenses. Whether through genuine genius or malicious madness, every brew can help shape the fight.

• Roll five custom hero dice and reroll them up to three times.
• Spend combat points on cards with varied effects.
• Upgrade abilities, apply status effects, and manipulate dice.
• Play in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2, or free-for-all battles.

Between dice rolls, tactical card play lets you improve your hero, surprise your foe, or manipulate your own, your teammate’s, or your opponent’s dice. Upgrade cards make abilities stronger as the game progresses, while action cards offer additional opportunities to influence the battlefield.

As the first single-character release in the Dice Throne Universe, Dice Throne: Alchemist introduces a distinct hero built around science, sorcery, and resourceful battlefield control. The Alchemist is compatible with heroes from any other Dice Throne season, making her a flexible choice for different matchups and team formats.
