Dice Upon a Time is a family adventure board game for 2–5 players, with games taking about 60 minutes. Set in the fabulous fairy-tale world of the Grimm Brothers, it invites players to take on beloved characters and complete quests for Adventure Points.

Choose among popular Grimm figures such as Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, and The Musicians of Bremen. As your adventure unfolds, you will encounter old friends in familiar places, discover Magic Items, and shape your strategy around story fragments and the unique abilities of your chosen character.

The game’s distinctive movement system is built around a set of special dice. Rather than simply rolling and moving, you place dice tactically on the board—often stacking them on top of one another—to get ahead of your opponents or block their paths. The special die faces add further opportunities to consider as you decide where each die can make the greatest difference.
