Die Schlacht um Thors Kliff is a non-cooperative strategic adventure game for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 140 minutes. Set in the year 1000, it follows four Heroes competing for the favor of Thor’s Daughter, a mighty Child whose future could change the fate of the entire world.

The story begins in 993 AD, when Thor’s Daughter is born on an island called Thor’s Cliff. Seven years later, ancient forces reawaken as Raghild, Bera, Jorund, and Oleif battle for her attention and affection. Each Hero approaches the struggle according to their own individual abilities and strategy.

Players attempt to earn Thor’s Daughter’s love by presenting her with amber and gemstones. Along the way, they can earn silver, fight trolls, recruit new warriors, and buy various items for their Heroes. These pursuits form a competitive struggle in which every player follows a personal path toward the favor of the mighty Child.
