About this board game

Dino Dude Ranch is a dinosaur-wrangling resource management and set collection game for 2–5 players, with play time of about 40 minutes.

Take on the role of a rancher specializing in capturing dinosaurs. Each turn, roll custom dice to collect the resources needed to lure dinosaurs from the Jurassic Hunting Grounds. Captured dinosaurs are added to your ranch, while new dinosaurs are randomly selected to refill the hunting grounds.

Every dinosaur needs space, and your ranch can quickly become harder to manage when tar pits appear during resource collection. Tar pits occupy valuable ranch space that could otherwise house dinosaurs, and they also count as negative points at the end of the game.

Players can also choose to purchase cards that expand their options. These cards may produce additional resources, provide free dinosaurs, or add and remove tar pits from ranches, giving ranchers more ways to develop their land and collection.

The game continues until all dinosaurs have been captured from the Jurassic Hunting Grounds or one rancher completely fills their ranch. At the end, the rancher with the most valuable dinosaurs and the strongest final score wins.
