About this board game

Dinosaur Island is a worker placement game for 1–4 players, with play time of about 120 minutes, in which you build a thrilling dinosaur park and compete to attract visitors.

Players collect DNA, research the sequences of extinct dinosaur species, and combine ancient DNA in the correct order to bring prehistoric creatures back to life. As your park develops, you can build attractions and add dinosaurs to gain victory points.

Each season, players compete to create the most exciting park. When the park opens, they work to attract—and keep alive—the most visitors. This creates a balance between expanding your park, developing dinosaurs, and pursuing the points that will lead to victory.

Every game of Dinosaur Island begins with two Plot-Twist cards. These cards change the rules in a variety of ways, creating unexpected conditions that can dramatically alter strategy and decision-making throughout the game. The goal cards are also unique in each game, adding further variation to every session.
