Doomlings: The Meaning of Life

About this expansion

Doomlings: The Meaning of Life is an 18-card expansion for 2–6 players that adds hidden objectives and quantifiable point values to a game with a 45-minute play time.

Throughout the ages, Doomlings have contemplated their existence. Why are they here? Does any of it matter? This expansion offers simple answers to those complicated questions by giving their lives measurable meaning.

The Meaning of Life introduces a new layer of gameplay through hidden objectives for each player. These objectives provide an additional focus as you play, connecting the abstract question of existence with clear point values.

During setup, every player is dealt two Meaning of Life cards. Each player then chooses one card to keep, creating a personal objective for the game.

• 18 new Meaning of Life cards
• Hidden objectives for each player
• Two cards dealt to each player during setup
• One card chosen and kept by each player
• Designed for 2–6 players

Because each player selects one card from two options, the expansion adds a choice before gameplay begins. The result is a distinct personal layer that gives each life a quantifiable purpose within the game.

Released in 2022, Doomlings: The Meaning of Life is a focused addition for players who want to explore the Doomlings’ biggest questions while pursuing clear objectives and point values. It expands the experience without changing its central theme: finding out whether any of it matters.
