Dorasure

About this board game

Dorasure is a cooperative miniature board game for 2–5 players, playable in about 30 minutes. Set near a town in Havinia, it casts players as adventurers preparing to defeat an evil dragon through exploration, skill development, and a decisive final battle.

The game unfolds across two distinct phases: adventuring and dragon battle. During the adventure, the group must conquer five mountains—or face the dragon flying away and escape. Mountain challenges are resolved with dice rolls using one of three adventure skills: battle, search, or intelligence.

Players can strengthen a roll with a one-time resource. These resources may be recovered in specific situations during an adventure, so deciding when to spend them is an important part of preparing for the journey. Successful adventures also provide experience, allowing characters to expand their skills according to each adventure’s predefined progression.

Every adventure changes the details of the challenge, including experience and skill expansion, life, available resources and their recovery conditions, and the special item used for the final battle. This gives each adventure its own framework while keeping the central objective clear.

Time is a constant threat during the adventuring phase: if the group does not complete all the mountains before the dragon’s rampage, it loses. If the adventurers succeed, they carry their earned skills and items into an exciting confrontation designed to kill the dragon. Dorasure combines compact cooperative play with a clear journey from preparation to showdown.
