Doudou

About this board game

Doudou is a cooperative investigative game for 1 to 4 players aged 3 and up, with games lasting around 5 minutes. Together, children become detectives searching for a mischievous blankie who has played a farce and hidden himself somewhere in the bedroom before night falls.

The blankie has left 7 clue cards behind. Players use these clues to investigate two things: the blankie himself and the place where he is hiding. The aim is to gather enough information to discover the blankie’s hiding place before the clues run out.

• Choose a clue card on your turn.
• Ask one question about the blankie or the hiding place.
• Check the answer using the self-correcting “magic” card.
• Pass the turn to the next player.

Because everyone is working toward the same solution, Doudou encourages children to cooperate as they interpret the clues and build their investigation together. The simple turn structure keeps the mystery focused and makes each question count.

The game ends once all 7 clue cards have been used. The players win when they can identify where the blankie is hiding in the bedroom. With its short play time and accessible investigative format, Doudou offers a compact cooperative mystery for young detectives and their fellow players.
