About this board game

Dragon Market is a strategic board game for 2–4 players that takes about 40 minutes to play. Manipulate boats on a river, collect the merchandise shown on your objective cards, and race to return to your pontoon.

Each player begins with a figure on a corner pontoon and an objective card showing four different merchandise types. Boats occupy three spaces and can carry identical merchandise tokens, while sailors affect how figures and boats can move. The shifting layout creates a constantly changing route to the goods you need.

On your turn, roll the dice to determine your available actions. You can spend coins to gain additional actions, then use them to:

• Slide a boat forward or backward through unoccupied spaces.
• Rotate a boat 90 degrees around its sailor.
• Move your figure between pontoons, boats, and merchandise spaces, collecting goods shown on your objective.

Unspent actions become coins, allowing you to save resources for a later turn. Once you have collected all the required merchandise, you must make it back to your pontoon. Completing two objective cards first wins the regular game.

For a more advanced challenge, players choose from objective cards that combine three or four merchandise types with a bonus. Completing one unlocks a one-time or once-per-turn effect, while also giving you a new objective to pursue. In this mode, the first player to complete three objectives wins.

Dragon Market also includes team rules for both regular and advanced objective cards, offering another way to play the boat-shifting race.
