About this board game

Dragonscroll is a 2014 board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes, in which young dragons compete to create the most illustrious story.

Each player takes on the role of a dragonling seeking fame—or infamy—across a land filled with danger and opportunity. Your Dragonscroll cards contain tasks that can increase your renown and add memorable deeds to your growing tale.

On your turn, draw and place a terrain tile to expand the known world. New tiles may reveal enemies such as wizards, elves, and orcs, villages, or lost royalty optimistically waiting for a lift home. Fly to a new location, then rain fireballs upon unsuspecting foes, with the Ball-ROG, the fireball flaming tower of death, determining where they land.

You also have one bonus action during your turn, chosen from three double-sided cards. Once you choose a bonus, turn that card over to reveal a different bonus action for later use. Dragons can also eat three creatures to increase the number of fireballs they shoot.

Complete a task from your Dragonscroll cards and you may add it to your story. At the end of the game, the dragon with the most illustrious story wins, while the others may find their deeds remembered less generously.
