About this board game

Dream Runners is a fast-paced pattern-building board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 40 minutes. Across eight rounds, players work to preserve the serenity of their dreams while gathering victory points.

Each round, everyone receives the same dream tile. Using their own segmented tiles, players must quickly create a pattern in which action symbols match the positions of the dream’s trials. The goal is to respond to the strange creatures and other intruders appearing in the dream before they become too difficult to overcome.

• Banish nightmares by matching the appropriate action symbols.
• Collect coins to purchase new segments.
• Gather keys to open chests.
• Claim star fragments to earn more victory points.

Every trial left uncovered by a symbol diminishes your serenity, reducing your final score. Careful pattern construction can help you handle more of the dream’s challenges, but completing your arrangement is only part of the pressure.

As soon as one player finishes their pattern, the hourglass is turned upside down. All other players must complete their own patterns before time runs out, transforming the quiet task of studying the dream into a frantic race to assemble the right segments.

After eight rounds, players total their victory points. The player with the highest score wins. With shared dream tiles, individual segments, uncovered trials, and a timed finish, Dream Runners combines spatial matching with an escalating race against the clock.
