About this board game
Dropzone Commander: Core Rulebook is a 10mm-scale sci-fi tabletop wargame for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes. Set during mankind’s earliest attempt to retake the central planets from the Scourge, it places players in a universe of bloody battles, epic conflict, and divided loyalties.
Choose whether to fight for humanity, the Scourge, or your own ends. Races, generals, and individuals all take sides as you command forces across the battlefields of the future. The game is designed for mass battles between two or more players on a standard 4×4-foot table, while larger tables can also support the action.
At the heart of the system is alternate activation, keeping players involved and the action constantly moving. The rules are scalable, supporting tactical skirmishes as well as titanic clashes of metal and firepower without sacrificing the character of individual units or the colour and eventfulness of battle.
- Rapid deployment: Airborne dropships help move forces quickly into the conflict.
- Flexible scale: Play anything from tactical skirmishes to huge battles.
- Varied forces: Command a wide array of war machines while infantry remains important.
- Dynamic turns: Alternate activation keeps both sides engaged throughout the game.
Dropzone Commander combines fast-paced decisions with a battlefield where redeployment matters. Swift thinking and strokes of genius can turn a battle, whether your forces are striking from above or holding their ground against overwhelming firepower.
With its focus on airborne operations, evolving engagements, and distinct units, Dropzone Commander offers a tactical tabletop experience for players ready to take sides in humanity’s fight for the central planets.
