About this board game

Duck is a fast-paced, family-friendly card game for 3–5 players that plays in about 15 minutes. In this push-your-luck contest, you will decide whether to play cards quickly, hold onto a very high card, or boldly DUCK out of the round.

Keep a close eye on the cards in your hand and the moves made by your opponents. Play your hand cards cleverly, then draw only cards that are advantageous for your next turn. The aim is not simply to act quickly: every choice can affect the total value of your hand and your chance of earning points.

• Play cards from your hand and work toward getting rid of them all.
• Duck when you believe you have the lowest sum in hand.
• Watch the other players and judge the right moment to take a risk.

The first player to play all their cards wins the round and earns valuable points. However, the player with the highest sum in hand scores nothing, making an oversized total especially dangerous. Choosing when to leave the round by ducking can be just as important as playing cards.

Will you race to empty your hand, or wait for the perfect opportunity to duck before your opponents do? If your gamble is right, you can underbid everyone else and gain valuable victory points. If not, your timing may leave you behind.
