About this board game

Dungeoneer: Dragons of the Forsaken Desert is a wilderness-themed card game for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 60 minutes. As a character exploring a desert built from map cards, you will face monsters, complete quests, and level up along the way.

Long ago, the sorcery of the Eldritch Lords transformed fertile plains into a desolate waste. Crumbling ruins now cover the landscape, while the Drakan struggle to survive in the harsh desert.

The Dragon King has summoned legions of dragons and their lizard-men minions to claim the desert. Against this threat, players must defend the villages of the Drakan and work to defeat the vile dragon horde.

  • 110 new cards with a dragon-themed wilderness setting
  • Map cards used to build the area your character explores
  • Monsters to fight, quests to complete, and levels to gain
  • Six new heroes: Arcanist, Barbarian, Cleric, Defiler, Dragonslayer, and Priestess

As the fifth Dungeoneer game, Dragons of the Forsaken Desert can be played as a stand-alone card game. It can also be combined with other Dungeoneer decks for additional dungeon-delving play.

With its desert theme, ruined civilization, dragon armies, and character-driven exploration, Dragons of the Forsaken Desert brings a distinctive wilderness setting to the Dungeoneer series. Build the map, confront the dangers, and take on the forces threatening the Drakan villages.
