Eagles: Waterloo is a two-player, approximately 120-minute simulation of Napoleon’s final campaign, released in 1995.

Fast-paced and designed to be historically accurate, the game recreates the climactic Waterloo campaign through collectible cards representing the people, units, artillery, and terrain of the period. Each deck contains 60 cards selected from a pool of 300 different cards.

The card collection includes every significant general, regiment, battery, and terrain feature present during the campaign. Cards are printed in Gold, Silver, and Bronze versions: Gold cards are rare, Silver cards are uncommon, and Bronze cards are common. Each version has the same game effect, making it possible to obtain a complete set while still offering collectors the opportunity to pursue rarer series.

• Play the battles of Ligny, Wavre, Quatre Bras, and Waterloo.
• Combine all four battles into the full campaign.
• Eventually play a fictitious battle of Charleroi.

Historical detail is central to the experience. Regimental uniforms and portraits of the generals are accurately presented, creating a graphical order of battle for the Waterloo campaign. Card identities appear in French, English, Dutch, or German according to the nationality of the regiment.

Special cards and the rules are designed to recreate the flavor of the campaign and the Napoleonic period. The artwork and graphics for Eagles: Waterloo were created by RPG and historical artist Eric Hotz, adding a detailed visual presentation to this collectible historical game.
