About this board game

Earth Under Siege: Flashpoint is a cooperative sci-fi dungeon crawler for 1–4 players, with missions lasting around 90 minutes. Set six months after the Xethan alien invasion began, it challenges AEGIS operatives to halt the enemy’s conquest of Earth.

The campaign focuses on stealth, covert actions, and sabotage. Players infiltrate enemy facilities and use every method available, from cutting the power and moving through ventilation shafts to firing silenced weapons and hacking alien databases.

Across a campaign of more than 30 missions, players develop their operatives and HQ while following the story deeper into the invasion. Their investigations eventually reveal the true nature of the Enemy and where the alien force came from.

  • Cooperative missions: Work together as AEGIS operatives against the invading Xethan.
  • Stealth-focused gameplay: Use covert actions, sabotage, ventilation shafts, silenced weapons, and hacking.
  • Action-token management: Exhaust action tokens to perform operative actions, then plan carefully around limited recovery during each Refresh Phase.
  • Campaign development: Improve operatives and HQ throughout a 30+ mission story.
  • Customizable tactics: Build each operative’s unique Tactics deck to support a preferred play style or powerful combinations.

Each round, operatives perform actions by exhausting one of their six action tokens. Players can continue until they run out of available tokens or choose to pass, but normally recover only three tokens in the Refresh Phase, making every decision important.

Every operative also has a unique deck of Tactics cards. As the campaign progresses, players develop these decks to tailor their operatives to specific roles, play styles, or combos. In Earth Under Siege: Flashpoint, survival depends on coordination, careful planning, and using the right covert tool at the right moment.
