eBay Electronic Talking Auction Game is a fast auction game for 3–4 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Players compete for items using bid cards while an electronic gizmo controls turn order and signals when each auction ends.

Each item begins with an estimated value, but its true value remains hidden until someone wins the bidding. When the gizmo calls a player’s color, that player has only a few seconds to place a bid. Hesitate too long and the buzzer sounds, moving the bidding opportunity to another player.

The changing values make every auction a risk. A winning bid may reveal an item worth more or less than its displayed estimate, so players must decide how aggressively to compete while managing their available bids.

• Double-score collections containing three or more items of the same color or category.
