About this board game

El Switcher is a strategy and puzzle game for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 45 minutes. Players race to form the figures assigned to them by moving tiles across the board according to their movement cards.

Each player works through a deck of figure cards, aiming to complete every required shape. The first player to form all the figures from their deck wins. Because available movements are dealt randomly, players must pay close attention and make the most of the options in hand.

The game combines spatial problem-solving, tactical movement, and quick observation. With 36 tiles in four colors and a collection of designated figures to create, the board becomes a constantly changing challenge as players plan how to arrange the pieces.

  • Strategy and wit game for 2–4 players
  • Approximately 45 minutes per game
  • Move tiles using randomly dealt movement cards
  • Form the required figures and be first to complete your deck
  • Includes 36 tiles, 49 movement cards, four decks of 23 figure cards, a board, and rules

Attention is a decisive factor in El Switcher, where the movement cards available to each player shape every turn. The challenge is to recognize useful opportunities, arrange the tiles effectively, and steadily complete the figures before anyone else.

Released in 2012, El Switcher features illustrations by the acclaimed Rosario artist Decur, known for ¡Pipí Cucú!, a successful book in Argentina and Latin America. Its focus on forming shapes through movement gives the game a clear, engaging identity for players aged 10 to 99.
