About this board game

Electronic Talking Mystery Mansion is a deduction game for 2–4 players that plays in about 45 minutes. Players search the mansion, interpret electronic clues, and work out where the money is hidden.

The board is fixed, but the contents of its rooms are variable, creating a changing mystery within the same mansion layout. Unlike the earlier game, players do not need to collect specific Search cards before investigating. Instead, they can search for any item they choose.

An electronic organizer provides the results of each search. Some clues are shared with everyone, while other information is given only to the active player. Paying attention to what is revealed—and what remains private—is central to narrowing down the money’s location.

  • Search any item without collecting Search cards first.
  • Use public and active-player-only clues to deduce the hiding place.
  • Collect the correct clue cards: one item and one person.
  • Choose from 12 possible clue cards to obtain the money and win.

Electronic Talking Mystery Mansion is a quicker, lighter version of the earlier board game. It removes the need to drag chests out of the house, includes fewer hiding spots, and uses fewer clue cards, keeping the investigation more streamlined.

With its mix of shared information, secret details, and flexible searching, the game focuses on deduction rather than assembling a specific set of Search cards. The electronic format helps deliver clues as players investigate, while the variable room contents keep the mystery from being fixed to a single arrangement.
