About this board game
Elves, Dwarfs & Dungeonbowl is a two-player Blood Bowl game with an approximately 180-minute play time, released in 1989. It includes complete Elf and Dwarf Blood Bowl teams, along with the rules and components for Dungeonbowl, a variant sponsored by the Colleges of Magic.
Dungeonbowl moves the action from the traditional pitch into a dungeon. Teams navigate its rooms using teleporters, creating a distinctive setting for a hard-fought contest between the Elves and Dwarfs.
The game begins with the ball hidden in one of the trapped chests scattered throughout the dungeon. Players must search for it before the struggle for possession can truly begin. Once the ball is found, the match becomes a furious battle to control it.
- 32 finely sculpted plastic models
- Complete Elf and Dwarf Blood Bowl teams
- Rules and components for the Dungeonbowl variant
- Teleporters and trapped chests as central dungeon features
Victory is immediate when a team scores a touchdown, so every contest is focused on reaching that decisive moment. With the first touchdown winning the game, possession matters from the instant the hidden ball is discovered.
Part of the Blood Bowl Series, Elves, Dwarfs & Dungeonbowl combines team-based conflict with exploration and magical dungeon movement. Its hidden-ball opening and sudden winning condition give the game a fast-paced structure, while the opposing Elf and Dwarf teams provide the foundation for the clash.
