Encounters: BattleTech is a fast-paced push-your-luck dice and card game for 1–8 players, set in the war-torn thirty-first century.

For generations, the Great Houses of the Inner Sphere have fought over the remnants of the long-dead Star League. Centuries of conflict have created countless mercenary commands, ready to accept the difficult missions that the Successor States cannot—or will not—handle themselves.

In Encounters: BattleTech, each player takes the role of a mercenary commander. Your command depends on two essential assets: the almighty C-bill and a reputation for having what it takes to complete the job.

• Take on contracts for the Great Houses.
• Use dice and cards in a push-your-luck system.
• Defeat enemies to earn C-bills.
• Spend your earnings on equipment to keep your unit afloat.
• Complete contracts and gain hard-earned mercenary reputation.

Every mission places your command in the balance. Defeating the enemies sent to stop you brings in the money needed to support your unit, but success ultimately depends on completing enough of the contract to earn the recognition mercenaries seek.
