About this board game
End of the Line is a post-apocalyptic family survival game for 3–5 players, with games lasting about 80 minutes.
You experience the end times from the perspective of an everyday citizen. Your family must outlast your opponents while waiting in line to collect the resources needed to survive a ruined world.
Your household includes:
- Dad and Mom
- Boy and Girl
- The family Dog
As your family waits, you must seek essential supplies while terrible things make collecting them difficult. The lines are for food, water, fuel, and ammo, but survival is threatened by dangers including mutant attacks, dehydration, and starvation.
These terrible events are played by you and your opponents, turning every attempt to gather resources into a struggle. The game also delivers some of the worst pop culture references the end days has to offer, adding a darkly comic tone to its survival premise.
End of the Line takes the familiar idea of worker placement and pushes it into disaster. Instead of calmly assigning workers to useful spaces, your family is trying to endure a collapsing world while standing in line for what it needs. The result is worker placement gone horribly, horribly wrong.
With its focus on family survival, resource collection, player-driven disasters, and apocalyptic hazards, End of the Line presents a distinctive take on the end times for groups of three to five players.
