About this board game

Escape from the Asylum is a cooperative escape-room board game for 1–6 players, with a listed play time of 60 minutes. Set in the North Oaks psychiatric hospital, it challenges players to solve puzzles, make life-changing decisions, and find a way to freedom.

You awaken in a cold, padded cell after your brother has committed you to the asylum. With little time to lose, you must retrieve your personal file, find somewhere to hide before the night guard makes his rounds, and uncover a route out of the hospital.

The experience is divided into two parts, with each part containing five stories. In every story, you assume the role of a character trying to escape North Oaks. As you progress, the asylum’s secrets and the characters’ histories gradually come to light.
