Eternal Palace

About this board game

Eternal Palace is a highly interactive Eurogame for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. As a noble family, you must help rebuild the Emperor’s palace, abandoned for centuries, while competing with rival families for his favor.

Your team of workers is represented by dice. Place them around the game board to reach locations, collect resources, and contribute to the reconstruction of the palace’s monuments. Each location is reached according to your dice rolls, creating a changing puzzle as you decide where your workers can make the greatest impact.

Access to the palace is not always straightforward. If another player has already visited an otherwise inaccessible location, you can go there too by paying fish, one of the game’s resources. Complete tasks before your opponents, or contribute more than they do to monuments, to earn tokens that reflect your overall effort.

As locations are unlocked, you receive painting pieces that help you paint a picture of the Emperor’s beloved gardens and palace, layer by layer. This growing artwork records your contribution while adding another goal to your reconstruction efforts.

In Eternal Palace, every family is trying to impress the Emperor, but only one can be chosen as his favorite. Contribute the most to the palace’s restoration and turn your careful dice placements, resource gathering, and artistic work into lasting influence.
