Ethnos: Promo Tribe – Fairies is a 2017 promo pack for 2–6 players, adding the Fairy race to the base game of Ethnos with an approximately 60-minute play time.

Designed by Paolo Mori and illustrated by John Howe, this pack introduces a new way to create a Band of Allies. To use it, add the Fairies to your base game and include a Fairy Leader among the available options.

The Fairy Leader has a distinctive effect when played. You may choose to swap it with a Band that one of your opponents played previously, provided that the opposing Band is the same size or smaller.

The swap rule gives the Fairies a clear identity within Ethnos. When you play a Fairy Leader, you can consider whether exchanging it with an opponent’s earlier Band fits the situation, while observing the size requirement.
