About this expansion

Ex Libris: Expanded Archives is an expansion for 1–5 players, designed for games lasting around 45 minutes. It opens a secret room filled with strange, oft-forgotten Artifacts and introduces new ways to improve your library and pursue impressive tomes.

The Artifactorium module adds two new locations and a collection of Artifact cards. These powerful cards can be shelved alongside your books, where they offer potent effects and scoring potential. Mastering them can help make your library stand out to the Official Inspector.

Expanded Archives also introduces three new Special Assistant Meeples and their cards. These trusty helpers can be sent into the village to find impressive tomes, giving you more opportunities to build your collection.

For a different way to recruit help, the Job Faire module adds two new locations and cards for the first-edition Special Assistants. With updated and balanced text, these cards support a bidding system that lets players compete to gain Special Assistants and have multiple different ones during each game.
