EXIT: The Game + Puzzle – The Sacred Temple is a puzzle adventure for 1–4 players that takes around 180 minutes to complete. Set on a small island in the Indian Ocean, it challenges your team to race through the jungle, save the professor, and find the Sacred Temple.

Before the temple can be explored, you must solve tricky puzzles while staying ahead of annoying treasure hunters. This entry in the EXIT series adds a distinctive twist: riddles within riddles are hidden inside the puzzles you discover during play.

There is no game board and no deck of cards. Instead, the game contains four puzzles, which you find and assemble one section at a time. Each completed puzzle creates an image that reveals what you need to find and shows what the next room looks like.

• Assemble four puzzles progressively during the adventure.
• Use the decoder disk to help solve the riddles.
• Look for strange items that may provide clues.
• Work together to save the professor and find the temple.

At the beginning, your available materials are the puzzle bag, containing pieces with grayish-blue backs and no pattern, and the decoder disk. As the game unfolds, additional strange items appear and may help you solve the riddles hidden in each puzzle.
