About this board game

Fairy Perfume is a push-your-luck strategy game for 2–4 players, set during the annual Grand Fairy Perfume Contest. Shake fragrance stones from your bottle, balance risk and reward, and compete to become the Legendary Scentweaver.

On each turn, you may perform two actions. Buy a colorful gem for your board, bottle all your gems, shake your bottle, discard a gem, or activate abilities and goals by spending Fairy Points. When you shake, draw fragrance stones within your minimum and maximum limits. Draw too many, and annoying black coals become part of your challenge.

Each fragrance stone offers a different advantage. Yellow stones earn coins, green stones provide Fairy Points, red stones burden neighboring players with coal, white stones grant 2 Fairy Points, blue stones give 3 coins, and purple stones are worth 6 points at the end of the game.

• Push-your-luck decisions: Choose how far to press your bottle’s limits.
• Magical gems: Add gems with unique effects to improve your board.
• Goals and abilities: Spend Fairy Points to unlock upgrades or pursue end-game scoring conditions.
• Variable player powers: Double-sided player boards, unique powers, and varied goals make each contest different.

The game ends when all purple fragrance stones have been taken. Players then score their goals, fragrance stones, and abilities, while subtracting points for any black coals. With its enchanting theme and accessible rules, Fairy Perfume blends tactical planning with the excitement of deciding when to stop shaking.
