About this board game

Fairy Tale Fluxx is a card game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes, in which changing rules shape how players draw, play, and win.

At the beginning, each player holds three cards. On every turn, a player draws one card and plays one card, but the cards themselves can transform the game as play continues. New rules may change how many cards to draw or play, how many cards can be held in hand, and how many can remain on the table.

In this fairy-tale edition, victory depends on the current Goal. Gather the right Keepers to match that Goal and you win—but the path to happily ever after is never completely safe. Watch out for the Witch and the Wolf as the rules and winning conditions shift.

Fairy Tale Fluxx brings the unpredictable, ever-changing card game of Fluxx to a land of kings, fairy-tale characters, and “happily ever after.” Every card played can affect what happens next, creating a constantly moving game state.

Released in 2018, Fairy Tale Fluxx offers the familiar Fluxx framework with a storybook theme. Whether the current rules favor drawing more cards, playing more cards, or pursuing a new Goal, the game keeps its focus on adapting to the cards in play.
