About this board game

Fairy is a fast card-guessing game for 2–10 players that takes about 10 minutes to play. Each round, reveal a new card and compare it with the card revealed previously.

All players choose a hand gesture simultaneously to predict how the new card relates to the previous one. You can guess that its value is higher, its value is lower, or that it has the same suit. You can also take a bold chance and guess that the card is a fairy.

Different predictions offer different rewards. A correct higher-or-lower value guess earns two points, while correctly guessing the same suit earns four points. Calling one of the three fairies in the deck pays seven points, making the fairy guess especially tempting when you think the moment is right.

• Lose one point for an incorrect guess.

Every choice carries a risk: a wrong guess costs you a point, so chasing the biggest reward can quickly change the standings. The simultaneous gesture selection keeps the action quick and gives every player a decision to make each round.

In Fairy, the goal is simple but the scoring creates meaningful tension. Keep making accurate predictions, seize the valuable fairy calls, and be the first player to reach 15 points.
