About this board game

Family Inc. is a fast-paced game for 2–7 players that takes about 10 minutes to play. In this hot-blooded contest of luck and risk, members of the notorious Azzardo family compete to leave their annual meeting with the fullest suitcase.

At the start of each round, score any face-up chips already in front of you by advancing your counter on the score board. Those chips are then removed from the game. Next, reveal chips one at a time from the middle of the table, placing each new chip face up in front of you.

After every reveal, you must choose whether to continue or end your turn. The danger is matching: if a newly revealed chip matches one of your face-up chips, your turn ends immediately. When this happens after your second or third chip reveal, you collect a diamond as compensation.

• Choose your risk: keep revealing chips or stop voluntarily.
• Match values: a duplicate chip can end your turn.
• Collect rewards: voluntarily ending your turn lets you take face-up chips from other players that match the values of your chips.
• Chase diamonds: collecting a third diamond returns all your diamonds and scores 50 points.

Family Inc. rewards players who know when to press their luck and when to secure their gains. The game ends as soon as a player reaches the 100 space on the score track, and that player wins.
