About this board game

Ferox is an asymmetrical card-battling game for 2 players, with an average play time of 90 minutes. Inspired by the cannibal exploitation films of the 1970s and 1980s, it places a crashed film crew and unforgiving native tribes in a hostile jungle where survival demands ruthless decisions.

One player controls the film crew, who must escape the jungle after their crash. The other plays the native tribes, intent on destroying every trace of the invaders. Each side has its own goals, creating a sharply contrasting battle in which both players must adapt their plans while trying to outwit their opponent.

At the heart of Ferox are card drafting, hand management, and the manipulation of a shared resource pool. Players must decide which cards to take, when to commit their options, and how to use the resources available to them. Careful choices can create an advantage, but the struggle leaves little room for hesitation.
