About this board game
Feudality is a board game for 2–6 players, with sessions lasting about 90 minutes, in which barons and baronesses manage their own fiefdoms in a dark age somewhere almost in Europe.
Each player begins with a Fiefdom Management card divided into 64 squares. Forty-nine of those squares can receive tiles, giving you a defined space in which to develop your land. Four squares are used for your Keep, where you place your fortification of some sort and your soldiers.
Across the rest of your territory, deploy resource gatherers and buildings to grow, prosper, and score victory points. Your wealth supports the prosperity of your king, while successful play may eventually put the crown within your reach.
- Manage a personal fiefdom represented by a 64-square card.
- Place tiles across the 49 squares available for development.
- Establish a Keep with a fortification and soldiers.
- Deploy resource gatherers and buildings to pursue victory points.
- Face wars, invasions, tournaments, taxes, and other upheavals.
The setting reflects a world where wealth is unevenly distributed and ambitious nobles seek to become richer while serving an even more prosperous king. Feudality combines territorial development with the possibility of conflict and disruption, creating a fiefdom-management experience filled with medieval trouble.
Whether you are building up your land, organizing its resources, or dealing with the nonsense that comes with power, every part of your domain contributes to the struggle for prosperity and status. Take your place as a baron or baroness and see whether your fiefdom can carry you all the way to the throne.
